The National Museum of Qatar, designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel, is close to opening its doors. The time has come to install its content in accordance with the museography project, also drafted by Nouvel's studio. During the exhibition TonArt, in the Tonwerk in Lausen, Ramon De Marco and Matthias Bosshard have presented the installation 'Zwitscherkosmos'; a mobile with a diameter of 5 m, which allows eight sound sources to be moved in space. In combination with the subtle arrangement of the sounds, a kind of acoustic magic world emerges, which moves from the perception at the border of the natural. More here.

The Kunstmuseum Basel currently presents the exhibit 'The Hidden Cézanne - From Sketchbook to Canvas’. One part of the exhibition is an animation, that shows the history of Cezanne’s sketchbooks. Idee und Klang Audio Design added sound and music to the wall projection.  Find out more here.

The slogan of the British Pavilion for Expo 2017 Astana is ‘We Are Energy'. It assembles visitors inside a precisely designed, interactive yurt, which is surrounded by a panorama projection. On July 4th, 2017, Queen Sonja of Norway opened ‚The Art Stable' at the Royal Palace in Oslo. It will have three new exhibitions on display each year that vary from art exhibitions and object displays from the Royal Collection. Besides the sound design we also contributed custom-made software allowing adjustment of the exhibit's volume based on the amount of people inside the installation area. More info here.

Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang

In collaboration with Klangerfinder GmbH & Co KG in Stuttgart, Germany, we have designed the entire sound design for the Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang. The Hyundai Motorstudio is the largest theme park in Korea, dealing with the topic of automobiles. The large exhibition covers four floors, in which the visitor is given an interesting insight view about the production process and the functioning of cars. More information here.

Since a couple of weeks we are finally one of the 150 Auro-3D-approved "Leading Studios of the World!" Our new Auro-3D system enables us to mix and produce music, sound design and everything in between, in this immersive surround sound format. We have already been able to make use of Auro-3D at the Museum of the Future 2017 in Dubai. As in 2015 and 2016, we created the music and sound design for this year's Museum of the Future in Dubai. The exhibition addresses the reality of climate change and presents a future where we have not only survived the challenges of climate change in the mid-21st century, but have thrived. The exhibit emphasises the inevitability of major environmental change and the importance of being proactive and able to adapt.
